Ch 125 Hard Driving                                                      Bad Disk

Got the call early in the morning , "could I come in early to save the day?" Putting in an AC unit had blown the circuit breaker and now main Dell tower PC here wouldn't boot up. My diagnosis actuator not actuating (power surge/ cooked the hard drive. Chaos was raining down on us like the asbestos from the ceiling tile, as a separate electrical line was installed there for the AC unit. At least the new kittens were cozy and sleeping in a chair/ although the mother was in heat and jumping around. Dell up the new drive right away- but I gotta load the software & drivers etc.

The drive is the black box in lower left below the USS Eisenhower. My hockey teammate was out for a months deployment in the Caribbean to maintain his proficiency in the nuclear power control room. Asked for pictures but Verboten. You probably wont recall from Chapter 41 that Uncle Gene was spared from being assigned to a carrier in the Pacific Theater at the end of the war. I updated that chapter with a direct link to the Torpedo Bomber Gene was to fly, like the one George Bush Sr was shot down in. Can still recall Gene buzzing our house in Virgil with various craft. Remember the bent wing Corsair for sure.

Sis sent me this article about Kristian Reynolds Ch125B who seems to be my Virgil brother, hockey guy, photographer, and book writer. He lives near Greek Peak on Woodchuck Hill Road right across the valley from where Unc Nelson was born and raised during his early years. I'm forced to show my links because I've been accused of making up these stories. Becoming a tangled web. Don't even ask me about my bad disk resulting from over stressing on heavy loads.
