Joy of Life

Had a ball photographing the Mute Swan family on our reservoir. It was a rare warm sunny winter day and the neighbor had invited us over for a chocolate chip cookies and tea.

Spent an hour stalking them. The male has a large black bump on his beak. He's training the juvenile to hunt for food very peacefully.

We take Schatzie to Kinns Park frequently as she just loves romping through the forests and meeting other people and their dogs. Was climbing up the steep bank when this guy's two Goldens mobbed me. So friendly and full of joy.

This a more typical gray overcast day. Seems like Climate Change has been giving us too many depressogenic dull periods. This picture seems so much better than the actual conditions, after lightening it up for display. Nevertheless you can see Schatzie never minds.

I've been following PawnBroker Pickers (Justin Baeten) as I mentioned previously. Happened to catch this Wednesday video where he offered a $50 eGift to Chick-fil-a  to first come audience members. Took a picture of the QR code, went up to our new store and tried the code not expecting it to work. The video was posted only 10 minutes prior but it had maybe a thousand views already. Guess I was the first one to use it, when I got free meals for Colleen, Lucas, Melissa and Me. It was so much fun and good tasting.

I'm again reminded of the phrase that starts every Navajo prayer, Walk in Beauty that guides them along the right path of life.

The spirit of old buddy John Lee's dog Daisy lives on with us. They have both passed on.
