fam gather during covid
Grand daugher & fam came up for a holiday visit just after Christmas as covid interruped things and we proceeded cautiously. Christie took this shot while I held Violet for an extended period while she was amazingly quiet and peaceful. Put on Facebook and got the most hits ever, so I guesss it made an impact. Our engineering bureaucracy was very fond of this term, warm and fuzzy, in the 90's. It was meant to demean emotionally attached thoughts to favor dry statistical rational analysis.
It started off relatively calm and quiet even though the kids displayed their " Hostile Mob Characters " Creepers from Minecraft, a youth oriented other world. No Judgement. There is a strong bond between these two cousins, it will go a lifetime.
When the Lazer Tag guns came out all hell broke out. It's a fun family game but that should have been expected having evolved from Army Combat Training.
Lucas had so much fun. They especially liked it with the lights out, Hazel started screaming but things began crashing so it was lights back on.
Team Lucas and Ricky won the first round. Ricky being a life long gamer. In fact it seems the majority of the current population are gamers.
Chris was not to be denied, but I think she was shielding her target area perhaps bordering on a rule violation. The reindeer antlers may have made her more of a target.
Lucas entered the shark cage in the Great Barrier Reef in VR Virtual Reality mode. Sometimes it's nice to go to another world. I guess when gamers go out into nature that is entering the nether-world.
Shawn calmed things down the next morning making a scrambled egg breakfast. Another lifetime gamer. We started him on that path with pong and Mario Brothers.
