This is the fragile ecosystem (looking North) where these rare compound-flowers grow wild. I'd noticed this small inlet stream from my vantage point on Panther Mountain last week and was anxious to explore with Kayak this week. Got a lucky break in the weather as there was a torrential downpour the day earlier. The extra flow made it easier actually to get over the beaver dams (6 each way). Just beyond this point it widens out to a beautiful secluded lake, that I may as well call "Fall Lake" to stay consistent with my naming process. Even further beyond this lake the stream narrows (Ch 129C).
