Ch 130D The Trek Trek                                                  Bicycling thru Nature

The run in with these peace keepers went peacefully enough. The County Sheriff was actually glad see his Ranger buddy and a fellow ex-civil servant. I'd just stopped to help the Forest Ranger clear the passage where the American Beech bit the bituminous. Forever Wild means not clearing the course until nature takes it course. I was helping throw the wood over the fence, ironically, just as I mentioned how I'd competed in the pulp log throw (1st Place) in woodsmen competition against and at his Wanakena Ranger School in the 60's. He'd graduated in the 70's. We were like 3 ships passing in the light.

Ended the bike ride where I started back at camp.
