Annual Pilgrimage

cycles of life

Like to get up to Stoner Lake at least once a year to visit old family camp and neighbors. This time with drone to capture some of the scene.

Joanie and Warren still (>50 years) in the tan camp. Blue old fam camp pretty much wasting away unused.

Warren now 80 Joanie plus a decade more or less. We discussed retirement etc.

Got Schatzie in the lake briefly but was afraid of the motor boat waves.

On the way up visited 102 year old mother in law and did the nice 1.6 mi uphill round trip up to Kane Mt and climbed firetower. Canada Lake in background.

Schatzie went wild hiking the trails, seeing other people and dogs. Energized her so much.

Day prior we had explored Galway Lake and blueberry festival. All private property but the nice beach attendant let us take Schatzie in by her beach. First time in water - she has been skiddish of water not wanting to go in the kids pool we bought. Lake seemed pretty clean and quiet with no motors allowed.

Had a morning opportunity with some Canadian smog in the air over our Stonycreek Reservoir. Try to fly mucho, whether I need to or not. Would nice for the town to purchase and let us use.

Just to get out of the house, get some exercise and attend a free concert in Schenectady.
