Winterhilfswerk or whw - nazi "charity" program- mementos given out feed everyone, farmers out of work, feed war effort 39-45. The 17 glass pieces were made September 19 and 20, 1942 and sometimes referred to as kwhw for kriegswinterhilfswerk since these pieces were made during the war (krieg) time.
Mahnmal Munchen reads the inscription on this piece. People's Monument in Munich to the Beer Hall Putsch. You can see by my fingers that this piece is only an inch tall, however, the detailed three dimensional relief is quite impressive to me as well as the historical significance. It does show it's age as it was made in 1942 during the time time when Germany was invading France?. I got it on eBay direct from below Munich in Greetsried. The dirt might be a result of the allied bombing campaign.
