Chapter 113

Ch 113 Arrest Warrant                                            Arresting Development

This week my magistrate buddy, Randy, issued an arrest warrant for a Guilderland NYSDO Health Research Scientist. No, it’s not the DOH Research Scientist, Kevin, from my mailing list.  It was Jun Wang, a microbiologist from the Wadsworth Labs under the direction of Health Research, Inc (HRI) that shares a building with Kev’s University at Albany's School of Public Health in Rensselaer. http://www.hrinet.org/  Had the opportunity to slip into the bail hearing at the Fed courthouse (Ch 108).

Judy Sanders and all the TV media were taking up the seats on the right side so I took the first available open seat on the left. It happened to be behind the defendant’s wife, Yu Zhao and a few other Chinese. Then another enters and sits besides me. I’m surrounded and they are looking at each other and mouthing Chinese secret somethings. When the US attorney spoke of deportation of both spouses, Yu began sobbing, but politely without a sound (impressive) as she was comforted by a compatriot. My [very fair] judge allowed bail as the US case, admirably argued by the defense (Lulibran) did not appear that strong to the judge (nor to me!). Jun’s  $¼ million home, that is subject to seizure, is actually a block from my office (searchable via ch 110 mortgages)  [charges subsequently dropped]

Defendant claims that selling the silicone valley Crossbow navigation guidance system, the Attitude Heading Reference System [AHRS 400CD] is not on the Dept of State Arms Export Control Act list of banned items and cited this webpage where it is freely sold in China but at higher cost. http://www.xbow.com.cn/ There is the issue of dual use technology with regards to military weapons that, maybe Dale can clarify.

Speaking of warrants. In judicial terms it is a writ issued by the court like the summons, which I also served on the DOH last week regarding another matter (librarian vs health insurer in Buffalo). The warrant in the picture is another public document available at county clerks office. Credit checks on an individual can be done in this manner. In finance, the warrant like this state tax warrant is an IOU. Liens, mortgages, civil and criminal judgments are public info and a fun hobby to while away the golden years.

After we establish some of these basic functions, then I’ll be able to get into some of the more wild and zany aspects of these fiduciary findings.
