Ch 130 The Trek Trek

Bicycling thru Nature

Aunt Carol liked the last episode so she gets another call to nature. Feedback has been woeful since the transition to the web product. Maybe she's the only one that opens them, or have my meaty sagas become just so much spam?

This week I focused on just the bike aspect. But as world champion Lance Armstrong says, it's not about the bike. There are many simple ("cheap") ways to amuse yourself. From camp this is an enjoyable ride along the beautiful Route 10 corridor. I know people who get on a stationary bike and pedal with a moving picture of nature, but it's just not the same. The nice thing about nature is that it is so natural.

In the background is the West Branch of the Sacandaga River that I toured by kayak and described in Chapter 81.

Sometimes you gotta stop and smell the roses,   or wildflowers    or whatever.  In this next sub-chapter a wider perspective will give you another feel of the trek.
