Fall Colors

Druthers Brewery in Clifton Park is one of our go-to spots nowadays. Happened to be there at dusk with interesting colors.
Their building and grounds layout was excellent and it draws people all the time. Always have a good time there.
Happened upon the Fure Vinga docked at the Port of Albany. A 500 ft environmentally friendly super tanker. It is running here on Natural Gas & electric but will trend towards biofuel to have a carbon neutral footprint in the future. Ship made in China for a big Swedish conglomerate.
A morning drone shoot from inside my house. It's nice when I don't have to struggle to get to a photo shoot site.
Josh's Tree Removal crew was working on the street so I made a deal to remove a couple pesky trees threatening our power lines and filling up the eaves troughs. This was a CMC crane, self propelled with remote operation. Guy on top with a small chain saw took apart the Yellow Birch piece by piece neatly. Saved wood for Colleen's fire place and dumped the chips out back to control weeds in our forests. Kind of a win win win win.
Then my neighbor had Clear Choice Tree Removal come in to remove three Maple trees threatening his power lines. The power company will trim limbs threatening your service line or rebuild service line after an outage, if you'd rather wait it out. This was full remote from the ground. Very efficient.
After shooting from the ground I sent the drone up for fun shots later. Chain saw is built into the multi positional hydraulic controlled claw head.
It's like magic. Dad had a good time in retirement watching and photographing the forestry guys with their carbide toothed zippity machines. It is mesmerizing.
Mother-in-law, Lillian made it past her 103 birthday still living at her home but in the end succumed to old age a week ago.
