Thanksgiving 2019
best yet ?
So, I consciously didn't take many photos this holiday and asked others after the fact to collaborate with me on this video that needed to be done. Melissa somehow captured this quintessential peaceful moment of the event.
Love Buca de Peppa Restaurant. Had joined their eClub way back but didn't pay much attention to it. They sent me gift certificates in the mail this year for a free birthday dessert and more. I went in not wanting to eat a meal so I could just savor the sundae. Had no idea it was actually "colossal" as advertised. Able to finish most of it though. That led to later taking family in for a meal, as shown in the video.
I was contemplating which family holidays were the best. When I was a kid experiencing the wonder, later with kids of my own, or now when my kids have kids. I guess the best in now, for some reason.
After the Thanksgiving event we got 20 inches of snow. Hours of snow grooming later, then I spotted my neighbor's tree the next morning, worth a snapshot.
Colleen and Christie also included entries for the mostly slide show video. Again used Andy Iorio musical background. He went to Hollywood again in November for his 2019 Hollywood Music in Media Award's nomination but did not pick up what they call simply an award.
I have added an LG Rebel (Lucky Goldstar smartphone) TracFone to my collection for the purpose of having GPS available in the woods. Maps and location will appear irrespective of cell service or wifi due to the advanced gps capability. Not a fan of the camera function but for a cheap $50 it's a useful tool.
