Chapter 595

Plotterkill Preserve

I had also climbed down the dangerous embankment in Chapter 285 with my still camera. This time with drone and when at the bottom there was no cell or gps signal but it flew anyway and I got some different perspectives.

Whilst in the neighborhood stopped at the Amsterdam Castle. Previously could not get a good angle without the power lines in the way. Didn't make a chapter as I was awaiting a time to stay over night there. Old National Guard Armory converted to hotel with medieval suits of armor.

Have been wanting to do a road trip with my restored Honda 400 and got in a nice one here. The Route 443 from Delmar to Scoharie is just a delightful country ride on smooth sweeping curves in the mountains with low traffic. You go through small settlements of Clarksville, East Bern, Bern, West Bern and Galupville. The Carrot Barn farm is a favorite spot for lunch but the hoards were out there. This is just past Clarksville and reminded me to re-issue my cave Chapter 342 when I came across this recent terrific video taken in there.

At this East Bern spot I like to take the bridge across Cobleskill Creek to Cotton Hill Road and Vromans Nose.

Nice day on cycle trip past the local Tomhannock Reservoir on way thru VT to MA.

Williamstown is quite photogenic and a nice relaxed vibe in this William College town.

While going to sleep the night beore, I was envisioning this next morning shot unloading some dead trees from Colleen's property. I thought it was very creative having drone idle shooting 4K video then doing screen captures to composite.
