Picked another absolutely beautiful day to hit one of my favs. Clear Trophy Trout stream near Vermont is just  an hour from home. Why wouldn't anyone want to experience this? It's close to God.

It was another rigorous paddle and pedal adventure (6 mile 2 1/2 hr by water, 8 mile 1 hr by land route). Stopped by the Copper Trout Art Gallery after but their art did not appeal to me. Mentioned the Nuns of New Skete produce the best heavely cheesecakes but before Colleen could google the directions we were headed to home. Another time.

Playing in water is a true summertime activity. Took Grandson Lucas to the Saratoga State Park where to enjoy the moment. Kids pay more attention to detail than adults. Stay focused everyone, we don't want to become "normal" adults do we?

Speaking of abnormal behavior, it's OK to chase rainbows or bubbles. Melissa captured this moment with her cell phone. Sometimes cellies can be good (but of course with my software edit). I also went there but grew impatient with the rainy weather. A lesson here. It is magical. I could write a treatise about the virtues of image (but will spare you).  Calling all paws.

Speaking of paws, Albany is Pawsome: a recent theme downtown in honor of our RCA dog Nipper atop the RCA building. This one is near my favorite downtown Sapienza Pizza joint.

Today's lesson: Whimsy is Good.
