As promised this chapter paints a story of the interrelationship between swaps and the art world. First I had a Honda swap to Greenfield MA along the scenic Mohawk Trail, rte 2 so I decided to visit MASS MOCA, a Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams. Displayed are some of Cai Guo-Qiang’s exploding Tauri along with some weird stuff in the Becoming Animal exhibition.  http://www.massmoca.org/  Lot of demons and things going back to Van Derhyden in 1500’s. [update If you think this is strange watch the movie "Strange Culture" about the abuse of power government displayed regarding Steve Kurtz's exhibit that was to be presented here.]

Interestingly (?) I was asked to work at the Auto Museum for a wedding reception (getting very tired of weddings) to discuss and interpret Ettore Bugatti’s 1937 Art Deco automobiles, the furniture of his father Carlo (Throne Chair 1900), and the Leopard sculptures of his younger brother Rembrandt. Got Mirabile thru Museum for a quick free tour during a bike ride to Saratoga, pedaling back a little tiresome after all those beers on Broadway.

I actually took all these shots and pleased at the editing outcome. Next week's journal will get back to earthy subject- my brush with law enforcement in Connecticut.
