My German Club Video

Part of the Wolf Pack group of Colleen's German friends at a Wolff's Biergarten in Albany. Herbie and Becky Liebenhagan play as the Accord A Tones. Mostly teachers and nurses in this crowd. Took a long time to assemble the video as I was using my Sony A5100 good for low light situations. Deciphering the dozens of video modes, aspect ratios, adjusting frame rate, shutter speeds, f-stop, and ISO to get the right combo was a challenge. iMovie worked easily on editing. Had to download a myriad of software updates to handle my raw image stills.

Earlier a visit to the Russian Festival at the Polish American Club. Colleen sometimes takes part with these Russian WW2 re-enactors. Got a hands on introduction to their Mosin Nagant 1891/30 cal rifles and a revolver.

Had a great Japanese meal at the Sakura Hibachi in Clifton Park. Being a poor sport, I declined on catching the Saki squirted from his squeeze bottles, but he did throw a couple broccolis at me anyway. Steak and scallops were tasty.

My WW2 Re-enachtment video

After one cancellation we did partake in a war re-enactment with some of Colleen's friends this weekend in the Adirondacks. A little memorial rifle salute and song was sung at the home of one re-renactor who passed away recently.

Last month made a bonfire on one of our rare 10 degree windchill days with a neighbor. If you get it hot, it will burn.
