chapter 387

Greetings from Tim Buckley

that psychic feeling

So, I was watching the well done artsy 2012  Greetings from Tim Buckley movie about a the 60's folk singer Tim Buckley. (Cable Showtime ch553 6:45am on 6/12/15 Fri). They showed his son Jeff Buckley taking the train to Amsterdam to visit his father's roots. I Google this and find out he lived in Fort Johnson

I Google that and am shocked that he was in my wife Kathy's 2nd grade school class where they both had perfect attendance.

Now I understand why I was so taken with Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah just after the Long Island Medium show (chapter documentation links). I didn't want to sound sappy so I didn't explicitly mention it in those chapters but when I hear the song, I feel Kathy's spirit.

They were all perfect. Perfect attendance at the Fort Johnson School in 1954, Paul, David,Peter, & Kathy.

The Fort Johnson school is still there built in 1923 and abandoned. It's just down the street from the old family home and right across from the Old Fort Johnson  where  French and Indian warrior Sir William Johnson lived with his Indian "wives".

So, in recap: Kathy was a classmate of a guy who became a significant 60's folk singer putting out 16 albums. She nor I nor her family ever knew anything about this guy. His Son followed in the Dad's footsteps singing and they both died tragically in early life. The first one at age 28 to Heroin, the second one to drowning at age 30.

Psychic spirits are real.
