Going to the Birds
bird brained
The bird watching phase of life, although very relaxing and rewarding can become overwhelming. The bird sanctuary I've created in the backyard is becoming bit of a monster.

Went 2 miles away over to the Mohawk River (still my backyard) to do some kayaking. That ended up as a 3 hour photo study of the mesmerizing and majestic Great Blue Heron instead of paddling. Pictures linked here if you are into that sort of thing. Caught timely photo of a wayward Northern Loon as a bass boat passed by at 80 mph.
Shot this air boat video on the same stretch of water. Shooting the airboat at speed from a half mile away I'd inadvertently captured a heron up in the tree.
