Right back to the damn Ruhr again. We led the 448th BG this time. 9 minutes of flak. Hit Stekrade oil refinery near Essen. They have high priority.Very cold higher altitude bombing.  - 40degrees below 0 C.

Believed to be Fischer Tropsch an synthetic oil facility,   Ruhrchemie (Hoechst) AG synthetic oil plant ("Oberhausen-Holten" or "Sterkrade/Holten") an important oil target.
