delivering supplies

Attended the Northeast USA Vietnam Vets annual reunion this week an hour south of Albany. Terry Kindlon was the keynote speaker. He was eloquent recounting some of his Marine war stories and it was a moving experience. The audience of a few hundred was spellbound, really hanging on every word. He remembered collaborating on my web page . Had recently been on the first leg of an Angel Flight that ended with fatalities and was heading out again following the reunion.

My primary mission was simply enjoy the ride down the beautiful Route 32 through the hillside overlooking the Catskills. Thought I may as well deliver refreshments to the troops and buy a T-shirt to support the cause.

Volunteered at ESAM to give a little help with the upcoming Malta Rocket display, but probably wont get very involved. GE was deeply involved with these rockets along with the White Sands Proving Grounds, Lawrence Livermore Labs, Jet Propulsion Lab at Cal Tech, and Johns Hopkins, etc.
