All 5 shots taken of Albany Airport from same point  0.15 miles away at Hockey Rink.

Old Canon shot of Albany Airport from Hockey Rink in Feb when I viewed mechanics working on the engines of the ill fated Continental turbo prop plane that crashed later in Buffalo.

Skated again today and photographed with new Canon at normal wideangle. In the center is gate A1 with Cape Air prop plane.

At 12X optical zoom plane in center of photo becomes readily visible.

Camera will go 48X digital zoom but with reduced quality. I held cam against a tree for stability thus a lower angle with barbed wire here (used 2x tele mode x12= 24X here)

Best to zoom with PC software here if I want to count the rivets from .15miles away !

Turning to my left is the State Police hanger. For kicks just zoomed inside their hanger

No Governor today, just the guy driving the little tow truck.

Super Macro mode on survival knife. Better illustrations to come.

Unbelievable. I've replaced my old school 30# camera bag of SLR lenses with technology that slips in my pocket (and shoots HD movies). Thank you AMD and the rest.
