Best Days of My Life

every day is a good day

"This is gonna be the best day of my life", the song says. I say that to myself every day. Well, maybe not every day. I'm reminding myself again that Great Grandma Sarah Zickefoose said there are good days and there are banner days. The Victorian Street Stroll in Saratoga, above, was a bit of a banner day. We were rushed getting there and it was just a quick visit, but it was a good vibe.

What are the best days of your life. It's difficult to enumerate but worthwhile looking back to be grateful for what you had and still have. So the clips and stills are re-hashes of old material composited to give an artistic feel and perspective to a major portion of my life.

Not yearning to be back in past times however, as I truly believe these days NOW are indeed the good ole days.

The American Authors (Boston/Brooklyn) song is used in this video. Youtube seems to allow it (so far) now when the artists agree and simply slap attribution information on the posting. This allows for some creative uses. The song was recorded several years ago though it didn't become known to me until this year. Slow on the uptake, maybe if I had a cell phone...
