A3 Photography Poster Project

Checkpoints

This quarter you will be making an A3 poster with your photos to demonstrate your photography ability.

1. CP1 Shoot
   1. Objective: To apply and practice photography composition
   2. The goal is to be efficient & take these three parts (a, b, & c) at the same time during the same photo shoot to be efficient and complete the assignment CP1.
   3. A) Shoot all Composition Photos
   4. B) Shoot your Name Letters.
   5. C) Take your photo contest image according to the directions for the photo contest assignment (required).

1. CP2 Comment
   1. Objective: To apply and practice photography composition
   2. Have a classmate comment on the photos.
2. CP3 B & W Self-Portrait
   1. Use the fun self-portrait photo we took in class that you used for Grunge. You will make a white background instead of a black background when you watch the video tutorial resize your photo so that it cuts you off from the shoulders. Add your name in a white color font but add a black drop shadow with cursive readable font on the bottom right side of the photograph. Save the image as max quality JPG and move to the Google Drive folder (file name: ca1.Last.First Name).

1. CP4 Letter Editing
   1. Follow the directions in the video tutorial.
   2. When finished upload your letter name with your self-portrait after the letters on a white (or black if you prefer) matte no matter if your name is even or odd then upload it to Schoology.

1. CP5 A3 Layout
   1. Watch the video tutorial to create your A3 poster that features your composition photos.
   2. Then save as JPG max quality and upload to Schoology and to the teacher Drive folder (reminder from before to make sure all of your other JPGs are saved in the list of folders).

1. CP6 Photo Contest
   1. Follow the directions to edit and print your photo contest photograph.
