Magazine

In Design class, we do not use a physical textbook but you will be required to get and bring a "design" magazine each time to class with your CA Book. You will use it as a reference to see various examples of design principals that you are learning. It will also help give you creative ideas when you need them for various assignments and tutorials.

What kind of magazine do I need? It should meet the following requirements:

• Published within the past six months
• Have a modern and creative look to it
• Contain creative product advertisements
• Appropriate YISS approved content material
• Visually appealing article layouts (e.g. below)

Magazine Ideas

• Your mom or friend may have a fashion design magazine
• You can go to the tourist information center in Itaewon and get the free Seoul magazine which is modern
• Many airlines give away free in-flight magazines at their offices that follow all of the requirements like Korean Air's Beyond magazine above
• You can look at 7-11 for a magazine
