Show

Create an advertisement video to showcase and try to sell your PC. Explain each of the parts and how it works.

Directions

This video can be completed solo or with your project partner. If you are video taping with your partner, both of you should share (does not have to be exactly equal) in the explanation processes. Edit the video in Windows Movie Maker, iMovie, etc. Add soft wordless music as background music to your video later. Make sure that there is plenty of light when you film and speak clearly and loudly. Try to make your video fun and entertaining for the audience.

    1. Visually introduce yourself (and your partner if you are using one...names only) and the name of your PC brand and computer model. Remember, you are salesmen and women so do not say your school and grade, be creative.
    2. Explain when you push the power switch, what exactly happens. Take a video tour of the process while explaining what each part does.
      • Include the power switch, power cables, power to the motherboard, BIOS in the RAM, operating system (OS) startup, etc). Resource
      • Explain the parts as you mention them (e.g. parts listed in first bullet)
    3. Explain the following: Explain the process when the computer saves permanent data to your hard drive compared to RAM storing temporary data. Explain the parts as you mention them (e.g. RAM, processor, hard drive)

Upload your video to your Google ID's YouTube account and post the link. Copy the video link and insert it on the second line below "More Photos:" and after the text "Video Tour:"
