Directions
Step 1
You should have a video of your singer singing (example) and the mp3 of your final song you created in GarageBand. Follow the video tutorial (in the tutorial they clap but you did not have to clap but just sync the singer singing) to sync your video and mp3 song to it; make sure it matches. When finished, export out as Large to your DropBox.
Step 2
Open quicktime and record your your screen of your GarageBand song (example).
Step 3
Import both into iMovie and drag first the exported GarageBand video file you recorded with Quicktime onto the timeline (crop it so that it is a closeup of the track layers like the example below) and then use picture in picture and place the video of the singer on top of the GarageBand footage and move it to the bottom right and enlarge it like the example below. Export out as Large.
Do not include any intro or credits but just fade in (beginning) and fade out (end). Export it as Large to your Dropbox.
When finished, you do not have to post anything but bring the finished video file to class to turn in to the teacher who will upload it.
Record your singer singing the song again but this time set up a video on a tripod and record a video of it while you record the audio
Then take that audio and use it as the audio track of your song and export the mp3 file and sync it with the video you just took.
