Sign Up

Go to http://icomment.posterous.com/ted-photography to sign up for your TED topic; make sure you read the directions. If you are the first one to sign up in the comment section, give yourself a SP.

You will now create a page for your video on the class googlesite which will help classmates and future students learn more about your video and topic.

Go to TED Photography and click "Create Page" at the top right (make sure you are signed in to your class gmail account). Choose one or two words as your title to describe your video. Make sure you choose "Put page Under TED Photography"

Go to the TED video page and below the video copy the HTML code next to "Embed this video" and then go to your page on the googlesite and click the HTML icon which is the last icon on the googlesite toolbar and paste the code there (delete anything in the box before you paste it)

Create a page that has the same format as the Example

• Bold centered title under the centered video and left-align everything else
• Bold Summary and Content with one space separating the two topics
• Phrases as bullets, not sentences with periods

Watch the video while taking your bullet-notes, at least ten bullets. At the end, type Notes By Your Name

Below the video, type watching or watched and paste the TED video title and click Post to Twitter. Make sure you are signed in to your classID twitter.

When you are finished, take a screenshot of your page and post it to posterous along with a link to the TED video and a link to the page you just created.
