Film RSS
Followed the directions to create an RSS blogspot and follow a few photography sites. Now, add three websites (RSS) to your Google Reader and tag them as Film when you organize the sites in Reader. Don't simply type "film rss" in Google. Use more strategic search terms to get the category of film you want to learn more about. Try a few from http://www.bestuniversity.com/blog/2009/100-best-blogs-for-film-and-theater-students/ if needed.
Read through the film posts and publish an interesting article: click "Send to" at the bottom of the article in Google Reader and choose your new rss Blogger you made. Publish it and then view it online and write a comment on it in your RSS Blogger on your views and why it was interesting. I may ask randomly for students to share these for the class. Then make sure anyone who is also taking Film class comments after you on what they think of your blog article and what is interesting about it.
Post the specific design article you reblogged to the spreadsheet, nothing to Posterous.
Now go to the article that you reblogged on Blogger and choose Send to and choose Twitter. When you retweet the article, add #CA(class#)rss at the end (example: #CA1rss, CA5rss). That way, you can view everybody's articles they liked: http://twitter.com/#!/search/%23carss
