CD Real Instrument

Recording Guidelines

    • Record your singer and musician using a professional microphone from class.
    • Make sure you record with a good background (example below) that is not too distracting and show the mic they are using. A solid color background is fine too.
    • Video record them singing with your phone or camera (you can film, a friend, or they can film themselves) in high quality (do not use the front camera of a phone, use the rear high quality). Don't film with your Macbook, which is low quality.
    • Have their shoulders face the camera but they can look at the instrument and not the camera (video example)
    • Recommended that the musician should wear something more formal with a collar (school uniform is okay).
    • Use a medium shot (waist up) or a medium closeup (shoulders up) with either a low or eye angle although you may need to use a wide shot if it is a larger instrument.

Take a screenshot from the video of them playing and upload your screenshot to Schoology.
