Intro [example]
You will film your intro like the example (first 10 seconds) and you will be holding the camera with steady hands/arms while you first film the following sequences of your dancer. Feel free to add additional shots and more cuts; the list below is the minimum requirements:
Shooting Directions [Angela's example] [Raymond's example]
Arch Shot
You may have already completed the arch shot editing: In the editing process for the arc shot, make the vertical pan go faster and the arc go really fast (right click on the clip > time stretch > type a number below 100 e.g. 40) as it spins around the dancer and then slow it down once it reaches around back to his or her face [Angela's example].
Freeze
Watch the example to understand how the freeze works.
At the end of the slow motion, add a .PSD freeze frame of your dancer (like you did for the AE Lighting tutorial) and pen tool them, make a copy of the selection on the layer, and paste into a new top layer (like how you made a duplicate copy of the top of the building in the flying tutorial and the student flew behind it). Take that Photoshop freeze frame and edit the image of the dancer in a creative way (example video). Use a grunge texture from the Internet for your background like the example below.
For the text, give your dancer a cool nickname a.k.a. Soulja Boy (not their real name). Make the text fly very fast from outside either the left or right side of the frame (go directly horizontal, not vertical and horizontal) and go behind the dancer and stop on the other side of the dancer and blink a few times.
Audio
Add an intro song (preferably with no lyrics) or use the beginning of your song if you think it fits for an intro or you can use the beginning of your original dance song.
Listen to the beats of your song. Some songs have fast beats while others slower. You will want to flash white on your screen on the beats of the song. Watch the short video (under 2 minute) tutorial but you decide how close together to space out each of the key frames but make sure to delete all of the keyframes of the light flashes during the slow motion on the dancer's face towards the end. In the tutorial, it shows you how to do really fast beats and normal beats.
DO NOT DO
Add a rack focus (tutorial) to the establishing shot. (example)
#6
After you almost complete a full circle of the arc shot you will freeze frame on the subject using a medium shot and change the effect of the still image [example] using Photoshop to make it look creative [tutorial].

3D Text
Add the following text to the Freeze Intro extreme wide shot and make that clip about five seconds long (you choose the speed): Your song's name where it says GUNNERSON and the Artist or Group where it it says VIDEO COPILOT but change that angle a little so you can read it easily [tutorial].
Remember that it must be seven seconds or less and make sure there is a separate short audio wordless audio track to go along with your productions intro.
First insert at the beginning of your timeline your short video productions into that you made.
Then zoom into either a white or black spot on the video so that it fills the screen. This will be a full screen match cut and serve as your transition to the actual dance, which you will start zoomed in on a white or black spot and then zoom out to the natural frame.
You already filmed your freeze intro and it is organized on the timeline, now you will edit according to the directions. Don't forget to render only the intro and post to YT and the link to WP and the spreadsheet.
render only the intro and upload to YT, Vimeo, or your Picasa and post the link to WP & the link to the spreadsheet.
Apply flash beats. Using the beats of the song, apply the flash effect to all of your Freeze Intro [tutorial]. In the tutorial, make sure to convert the audio to a key frame before you link it to the left channel slider effect.
