Full DV iMovie Plan

You have already created your outline using the spreadsheet template; now go back and edit/update it to ensure its quality and meeting the DV requirements. Color coordinate your rows using three light colors according to the three locations (primary location, secondary location, & green screen). Make sure to share your spreadsheet plan with your dancer and have them dance the full routine wide shot with the music according to your song's choreography while recording it with their laptop or phone and have them share it with you. Have them video the dance in the garb you have requested to make sure it is legit according to your preference and plan.Make sure you read the DV requirements and take note the difference between jumper and transporter as you need both. Remember that you need to film the background without the dancer so that when he warps out, you have footage of them not in the scene for a second. Also remember that the front camera cannot move when filming these two requirements and clone in order for it to work.

After they send you their video, open it in iMovie and use the Gradient White or Soft Bar White text option and type each of the DV requirements (e.g. clone, transporter, etc.) on the video where you plan it to happen.

Take a screenshot of one of the titles on the clip with your dancer and post to Schoology and be ready to show Mr. Heil the iMovie on your Macbook in class (you do not need to export it). Also upload an updated screenshot of your DV Plan Spreadsheet.

Finally, we have already started filming Harlem Shake and will be filming DV Dance Green Screen but need more props. Bring two creative, useful, and fun props to donate to the class that you think would be good (e.g. wig, hat, glasses, costume, prop). Take a photo of them together and post to Schoology then bring them to class.
