This assignment is to review and introduce some new cuts and shots. Each member will gather clips and the group will make one video to submit as a quiz grade (no extra points added except for stars). Here is an example but you may not use these clips in your assignment submission.
Use the resources to review film cuts and action shots. Then in a row group of 3-4 in class, each member will take a color below and watch appropriate trailers or scenes from a movie on Youtube and find a good example of each. Of course do not use any R-rated movies. It is suggested (but not required) to use Disney, Pixar, or Marvel movies. If one of your row members is absent, then they will be the group leader of your row to edit the video. If you cannot decide on a leader, have the oldest be the leader.
Use Quicktime to screen record (full screen) the short clip example and save it. Make sure to start the recording about half to one second before the actual cut or action shot and about a half a second after. If you have four in your group then the fourth member will take the last one of each member's color for Cuts and Action Shots (e.g. Action, Action Match Cut, Insert, Tracking, & Arc). You may not use video clips that other students are using in their groups.
When finished with finding your clips and recording them in Quicktime, name the video clip the name (e.g. Action Cut) and upload your clips to Schoology by the end of class. If you finish early, help your group members find their clips so they can finish on time.
Then assign a group leader who will combine all of the video clips in the order below using iMovie and make sure to have labels on each of the clips with non-lyrical music as the background. Make sure to crop the video so it does not show the play button and other distracting things. The group leader should export and and post to Schoology before next class. Make sure the leader shows each of the members the video so they can check over it and make sure it is all correct since it is a group grade.

If your group cannot find one of the cuts or shots you may use a clip that you shot from one of your group's I Am trailer from first quarter but your group may not use more than one of those clips. You may use trailer cuts that you previously researched from first quarter.
