AI Text
Before you start your animation for your background, open your AI and add your story's text to the background. Crop the background in half like you did for the previous backgrounds and save both the left and right side in full quality JPG and when you are done with this assignment beloe, post to Schoology and your Google Drive.
AE Setup
Make sure your composition size is the following.
AE Duration
Make your background composition the five seconds longer than your recorded narration for that background. 2 seconds before your narration starts and 3 seconds after it ends). Name the composition BG# in the same AE file and of course, always back it up on your computer, Google Drive, and a USB flash drive so you won't lose it.
Animations
You need to have two group of objects or object animate in your background (main story characters do not count). Be creative but not awkward animations. Also, the two background animations have to be different animations than in previous background animations. Although, if you have repeated objects from previous backgrounds and they were animated, they must continue to be animated whenever they appear in your story but they do not count as new animations in your backgrounds (e.g. clouds moving). Make sure your animations are realist. For example, don't make super fast clouds moving or a sun that rises really fast. Again, be creative and realist.
When you animate your characters according to the story line, each character has to be animated in some way in each background. This animation does not count towards your background animation.
For your new animated background objects and character animations in all your BGs, you must use each of the TRAPS (opacity, rotation, anchor, position, scale) tools and puppet tool in some way either in your background or in your character animation.
In Schoology, list TRAPS vertically (below) and Puppet. Then type how you used new background objects or characters to animate using each of the following (if you animate an object/character and it has both rotation and anchor, you can type it for R and A. List the new background objects that are animated in your current BG before you explain how you used them in TRAPS.

Then upload your BG video with your narration. After you submit it, view the student's video above yours and say one thing you like about their animation and one thing they could do to help it improve. If you forget to comment, it is 5 points off.
