Shoot 10

You will now apply what you have learned about shooting video.

    • You will create and shoot a 60 seconds or less video using ten video clips or less...make sure that they show progressive emotion and humor.
    • It must have a very simple but planned out storyline that shows slow progression like the video above.
    • You should not have any talking roles in the video clips.
    • You cannot use the same angle more than twice in your ten or less video clips; also, the same angle or subject shots cannot be used back-to-back after editing the video
    • Must use at least three different action shots.
    • At least three different cuts must be used.
    • Must purposefully and obviously show three forms of composition.
    • You will edit in class using iMovie and must have all of the effects (do not film the green screen); read over them and film so that the iMovie effect will work well your chosen clip

After you filmed your clips, write the file name (e.g. DSC 2311) of each clip in order (e.g. clip1, clip2, etc) and post to posterous a short description of each shot and note the angles, shots, cuts, and composition. You do not need to post your clips online but you need to save them right away to your USB or dropbox and bring to next class to edit and put them together.

This should not take long to film ten shots that equal 60 seconds or less and write the descriptions so make sure you don't spend too much time on it. Remember, keep it simple but creative/funny.
