Overview
Watch the video tutorial to learn how to select specific folders to sync to your Google Drive. Do not sync all your folders on your Macbook or you will run out of storage space and your computer will run slow.
Watch this short 30 second video from the last lesson to learn how to apply the same transform effect (crop, position, etc) to multiple clips at the same time. This will save you a lot of time!
In this tutorial you will create a variety of Premiere effects (example).
Directions
Watch the video tutorial and use the Transform Effect (when viewing it in Premiere, preview it in 1/2 instead of full if it lags) and use at least three of your sequence shots to move them from off the screen to on the screen in a creative way to show the progression of the shots (example).
You can use slow motion to keep them on the screen longer and you may go over three seconds for the first two clips if needed (like the example) but if the clips come at the same time, use three seconds). Use other clips to fill any missing gaps in your project. Submit this part (export only the edited sequence shot) by the end of class and the other directions below, you can submit as a reply to the same Schoology assignment before next class.
Now use the Transform Effect to show your three or more cutting rhythm shots at the same time for three seconds. Add the Crop Transform Effect to your clip and crop one or more of your photos so that they fit on your screen (if you have widescreen 15% crop, fit them within the crop) and keep a thin black gap between the clips. Use other footage you have not used yet for any gaps in your footage.
Finally, at two different times use the Track Matte Key effect in a creative way (example).
Render out each of the following edited clips as separate videos and upload to Schoology.
