You will be learning how to create Hollywood-style filming shots for your short film. In a group of three that Mr. Heil creates, each student in the group will sign up for one shot style from the Master Shots list that they will emulate. Try to choose one from a category you think you will use for your short film.
Go to Master Shots and take 10 minutes to learn your shot to be filmed in class while explaining to your actors their role and what to do.
Each person in your group will act and you guys will take turns filming for 10 minutes each (penalty if taking longer).
When you shoot your Master Shot, you will film a series of shots with a shallow storyline and then later edit and combine them to show the Master Shot. The length should be about 15-30 seconds. Do a good job because they will be used as examples on the website.
Now use Adobe Premiere and create a new project file in your Google Drive. When finished, export it and upload it to YouTube (if you do not have an account, create a new one or use your personal account) and post the link to the spreadsheet.
