Google Apps Tutorial 6: Slides

Overview

Choose one of the clubs that you have signed up for this year as you will create an interactive Google Slideshow (Example) about the club so that others can know more about it.

In the video tutorial for the club leader's names you can simply write their name in a box. For the location, you can just include a different background design instead of a photo of the actual location. For other photos, you can just use them from the Internet.

Three vertical photos that relates to the activities that are involved (ping pong club: student holding a ping pong paddle, forensics: student pretending to give a speech, etc). If you cannot think of a photo to take for your club, write the club name on a piece of paper and have a member of the club hold it and point to it while making a creative expression.

Here are the resources you need for the slideshow:

Watch the video tutorial (skip the Google+ part at the end) below and follow the directions to create a club slideshow. If the video is confusing you can choose to watch the new video tutorial (part II is in the YT description) instead and follow its requirements. Example

When finished, go to Share and choose to share it with "Anyone at YISS with the link can view". Copy the presentation link and post it to Schoology (you can skip the Google+ directions on the video tutorial).
