Google Form

Directions

Today you will create your own Google Form (example). Go to your Google Drive and create a new Google Form and title it Your Name's Survey. You will now create a survey using questions that you think would be interesting to ask people to get their opinions and preferences. Here is a link if you need ideas but be creative.

Below the title of your form, use Photobooth and take a photo of you saying howzit with you or with your friends and insert the photo at the top of your survey and title it Your Name.

(1) For the first question, ask them their birthday and use the Date format question (screenshot below).

(2) Second question, ask them at about what time they go to sleep on a school night or something related to time and use the Time format question.

(3) Then use all of the question styles below once except File upload. Be creative but appropriate with your questions especially when talking about other classes. You do not need to insert any questions about the person's name as it will automatically collect their email addresses.

Question Types

For the checkbox grid, list the four core classes (English, Math, History, & Science) in the Rows and in the Columns, think of something you can have the person answer for these (example below but don't use most hw).

Go to Settings (top right) and checkbox the following three:

Click on the color pallet icon at the top right and change the add a theme.

Click on preview at the top right and complete the questions to take your survey.

Then go to Responses and click on the green spreadsheet icon (below) and create a new spreadsheet for your responses. Format the column sizes and change the header color to the color and design of your choice.

Survey Friends (5 min)

Finally, email 10 people your Google Form to fill out. At home you can also post your form link online for your friends to take if you want but they have to be yisseoul.org emails for the form to accept them.

While you wait to get at least 10 survey responses, complete the Google Search part of this assignment. When you do have 10 then go to your survey responses and take a screenshot of a graph that shows one of your responses to an interesting question that you had on your survey.

Finished!
