My goal is to convert half of the computer lab into a green room like the image above. Want to help? For those of you who chose to get your own green screens so you would not have to use the one in the computer lab, if you donate your green screen to the lab you will receive extra credit. You should get your green screen on your own; if you ask your parents to help you, make sure they clearly know that it bonus and not required.
Type
- Do not get the shiny vinyl style shower curtain like the one in the lab. It is too shiny with lights, which causes parts to change to white instead of green. Therefore, this style will not be accepted as bonus.
- Get a fabric material green screen.
- The color is very important. It should not be too dark or too light. Instead, it should be bright green (not light green) like the photo below.
- Show me a sample of the color and material to get it approved before you get it.
Points
> 18 square feet means 18x18.
> The correct color and material is a large factor in the amount of points you will receive.
> If the color and material are correct then you will receive the following points:
- Green screen between 1-10 square feet: .5 points per square foot
- Green screen between 11-19 square feet: 1 points per square foot
- Green screen between 20+ square feet: 1.5 points per square foot (max 30 points)
Post
Take a photo of you and your green screen, post it to posterous, and add the link to the bonus spreadsheet. The deadline is May 3 (recommended to turn in earlier if you can) although you can still turn in material until May 17 but you will get half credit.
