For this CA class the standard to pass and get an A+ will be 50 WPM with 95% error minimum. To calculate your grade, take the Net Speed of your Lesson Average and multiply by two (e.g. 45 wpm x 2 == 90% grade).

Also use your class Gmail for the email address. WPMIn a speed test for typing, every five characters or keystrokes, including spaces, is classed as one word. WPM (words per minute) averages are with deductions made for each word spelled incorrectly. Therefore, someone who typed 60 words of the passage in one minute and made 4 errors would have a typing speed of 56 wpm. • Gross Speed: the fastest time you had during that time. Maybe you typed the phrase "The Rangers won the game" the fastest so the speed you typed that phrase will be your gross
• Net Speed: the average speed minus your errors
• Lesson Averages: this Net Speed is more important that the numbers above because it shows the average Net Speed for the whole exercise, not just the part.
