Part A
Decide where a good place would be to add very rapid "flash" cut transitions according to the music. Apply this rapid transition cut back and forth between other dance footage for at least five seconds while switching least 10 times on the build up of the song like one of the examples below. In addition, during the last few transition switches (about two seconds), use simple and quick light writing for emphasis (do not spend a lot of time on the light writing, spend it on the rapid transitions).

Export the short part and upload to Schoology in class.
Part B
You will work on your final edits of the first 60 seconds of your video while placing a focus on editing the cutaways. Open your main AE project; in a previous organization assignment you already arranged your layers so they are the same movements on the timeline and lined them up to match the music (short tutorial on how to cut, move, and arrange layers in case you forgot). If you have not matched the videos to the music and to each other, make sure it is completed before you move on. If any of your footage is too dark then follow this tutorial. Now make sure you have the following in your timeline:
The first part of your video is your intro. You will now edit your footage so that you switch back and forth between the front wide and front/side medium footage and switch the two location footage at times (e.g. Julie's Project). You must switch to your medium side footage at least 4 times or more in the first 60 seconds and switch to a second location at least twice.
The best time to switch is on certain song beats (Angela example) and moves of the dancer; you may not switch randomly. Cut back and forth between your clips frequently; you cannot have long clip in your entire video that is over 4 seconds of just one shot unless it is for a specific required effect that had to be over 4 seconds for either the light writing or clone (no other reason is acceptable). Export only the first 60 seconds of the video and upload to Youtube since the video file is large and the link to Schoology. Before midnight on the same night it is due, ask any classmate to view your video and type what you did the best on and two things you could do to improve it while pointing out any missing requirements to help you get a better grade in the future since right now it is only a completion grade and their comment point won't cause you to lose points on this checkpoint (unless you don't have an honest comment).
Part C
Make changes to the first 60 seconds according to your classmate's comment. Then work on editing the rest of the video's cutaways while using the same directions from Part B including no clip longer than 4 seconds unless it is for light writing or clone (no other reason). After the first 60 seconds, you must switch to your medium side footage at least 4 times or more and switch to a second location at least twice. In total there needs to be 8 medium side footage switches and four location switches in your final video.
