List of required AE effects and Julie's Project example

Cut on the beats (create in AP, edit in AE)
The main emphasis of your video is the visual effects with AE and you use a list of effects.
Complete all of the following using the composition you already made when you combined your two camera footage into one in AE with the music. Example project.
Do not do:
Camera Effects
Apply the following AE effects: Camera Shake, Speed Variation, & Zoom (directions).
When finished take a screenshot of your Zoom effect (one screenshot zoomed in and one zoomed out) and type the time in the video of the completed camera shake and speed variation, type in an email to WordPress at what time you applied each of the three effects, which will be check in class.

If you submit your YT link over the weekend early before Sunday (May 19) and it is complete without any missing requirements then you will receive 90% instead of 60% for any late checkpoints.

E. Credits
Apply speed variation, zooming, film look, lens flare, sound effects, & add your typography tutorial at the end while changing the background color of your typography tutorial credits to white if you it is not already (you may need to change some of your text colors to contrast well with white) at the end of your video which will be your credits.
Render as H.264 to YT and email the link to WP and also email it to one of your classmates and Mr. Heil. In the body of the email post ask your friend to check over your DV on YT and type out three things they liked and at least three good suggestions as a YT comment on how to improve your DV. Post the YT link to the spreadsheet. Make sure your audio works well.
F. Proof
View your YT comment from the previous checkpoint & make adjustments so that it is better. Then render your final video as H.264 with audio, save it in your dropbox, & name the file:
After Effects Dance Video by Your First & Last Name Featuring First & Last Name of the Dancer.
Upload to your Vimeo channel and post the link to WP. Then upload it to YT as unlisted and post the link to the final project spreadsheet. Be prepared to give Mr. Heil the file in class for grading as well.
Finally (& very important), copy the the list below and paste in a comment to your video on YT, type where Mr. Heil can find each of the requirements to aid in grading (e.g. Clone: 0:23) :

Green Screen
Film yourself (not the dancer but you) on the green screen and then follow the tutorial to create the silhouette effects. Render this section as H.264 to YT. Then create your
Particles effect and apply the camera shakes to your video. Render the whole 60sec+ video and make sure all of these effects are included along with the freeze intro. In the YT comment type where the particle effect starts and the camera shakes
D. Light
Using the same AE composition complete the light writing, light trail, flash effect (if not completed yet), and 3D light.
