Green Screen Film

In this lesson on type, you'll learn how to do the following:

• How to film on a green screen
• See examples of Superman
• Import green screen footage into After Effects
• Edit green screen video

Watch the video above to see how Hollywood uses the green screen. Then create a new folder called GreenScreen in your Google Drive folder.

Then download the tutorial files and insert them into this folder. In class, you will film yourself as the superhero and use your video clips instead of the male student but you will keep the same city background video clip as you watch and work on the video tutorial.

Complete the video tutorial up until you fly up into the air (first two seconds) like the example. Render it and only export the first 2-3 seconds to Schoology before class ends.

Then keep working in class on flying across the screen and finish the tutorial up to 15 minutes (you do not have to comlete the last flying part when you fly at the camera). Finish it as homework if you don't finish in class. Render it and post the whole video including the beginning to YT and the YT link to Schoology.
