3D Camera
Directions
Before you start, go to your background outer space layer and scale it to 150% so that when you rotate the 3D view, you won't see the white background like the example below:
Open your AE project file and follow the video tutorial to use a camera to move all your objects towards the camera and at least one object (e.g. planet) past the camera of your outer space scene.
Here are some helpful reminders, that were previous requirements or ways to improve your project to make it better for the final submission coming up later.
Render outer space as H.264. Upload to Schoology.
do not do:
Create a new AE composition in your same project and use or create any one (e.g. planet) objects (make only that object 3d) in the foreground in front of the dancer and move a new camera forward past the object(s) toward your dancer (z-axis planet example) like at 7:42. When you move the camera past the object, the object will no longer be visible but don't move the object off the screen, simply move the camera past the object.
and watch the example and the 3D Tutorial starting at 5:51 to learn how to use the 3D camera. While you watch the video, apply the same techniques to your Puppet Dance Outer Space video:

- During the first 3-5 seconds, add a 3D vertical pan starting from the sky or ceiling and going down to the dancer. You will need to vertically expand your background in AI and reimport that layer or expand it it in AE.
- Use or create any one or two objects in the foreground (e.g. like the bus and car in the video tutorial) in front of the dancer and move forward past them with the camera while focusing on your dancer like at 7:42.
- After the first five seconds of vertical pan, change the camera angle to more of a side view like in the video at 10:48.
- Add an ambient light at the beginning so that it starts black and fades in like the video example at 12:46.
- Add a 3D spotlight on yourself dancing like at 13:22.
- When finished, upload to YT and the link to Schoology.
