MV Overview

This quarter your project is to create a music video (student example) with your group using a combination of your design, video, and animation skills. You can go solo or create it with two partners (three per group), you can do so but each will design their own CD design.

As a group you will choose a song and at least one person has to sing (CA student example) although you can incorporate the others as backup singers during the chorus or a duet.

You can choose to create your own music for your song (you may get extra points) or you can sing it with the karaoke version of the song.

You will be creating various designs to incorporate into the MV.

When you choose your song, you will want to research the lyrics of songs to ensure that it is YISS appropriate and it has a good storyline to create a video for and sing to. The song must repeat the chorus at least twice and be 3-5 minutes long.

Brainstorm your song choice and then as a comment, type the name of the song and insert a Youtube link to the lyrical version of the song and make sure you watch and the lyrics and message of the song is clean. Then type each person's role in the song and the other info below as a comment in Schoology. Each group member can post the same info in their post:

Write in a couple of sentences why this song would be a good choice to act out as a storyline when creating a music video.

Finally, each member should find a different example of a creative music video on youtube that shows a good storyline that mirrors the song's lyrics and post the youtube link. Then post a screenshot to any creative typography-based music video of your song (CA student example). In your project, you will only need to create typography for at least part of the song's lyrics.
