Self-Portrait Shading

Directions

Follow the video to create shading in your self-portrait. Then follow the shading tips to help.

When you are finished, make sure you have the following:

• highlights on the hair
• use the mesh tool effectively in various parts
• apply subtle color gradient to your face and neck
• draw a slight shadow at the neck
• hand write your first and last name signature at the bottom right of your shirt
• make sure your shirt does not have any logos or other words
• do not leave a lot of head-space above the head and use equal margin spacing (white space between the edge and the design) on the left and right sides
