Now that you have your characters made and inserted into your backgrounds, you will insert your characters into the background animation you made in After Effects to complete the video.
For your audio, add two sound effects from http://soundbible.com.
For your narration of the video, record your voice in GarageBand and export it as M4A and insert it into AE to place on the timeline of your video animation; then you will know exactly how long the video needs to be but it should be about 15-30 seconds long and remember that your AE grade for the project will reside in only this short animated video so be creative and show the AE tools and skills that you learned.
If you have Minjee or the mother saying something then ask Stacy to record what you need for the mother voice and Christine for Minjee.
Then in GarageBand, record the rest of your narrations for your still illustrations and label them appropriately so that you will be able to know which narration goes with which illustration. Make sure you refer to the narrations you wrote in your Picasa Album with your illustrations. Next class you will be inserting the MP3 narration files into the iBook.
When finished with your AE video, go to Composition > add to render queue so that you can export the video and use the H.264 video format with audio. Then open the file in Quicktime and go to Save As and save as Movie. Then upload it to YT and place a copy in the shared dropbox folder.
