Custom Excel
Using what you learned about Excel, think of a practical way to use Excel in your life or to help someone else. Share the idea with Mr. Heil in class before the day it is due to gain feedback & get it approved; make sure your idea is practical and creative! Summer students should go ahead and create their idea after getting approval from a friend who thinks the idea is good. Here are some past examples. Then create it in Excel or a Google Doc Spreadsheet and make sure it has the following:
- Graph
- Simple and harder equations with cell references
- Format the cells in coordinating colors, not too flashy but not too plain
Rubric
You will be graded on the following:
7pts Creativity & Practical use
6pts Use of formulas
7pts Appearance (structure, colors, fonts, sizes, spacing)
20pts total (this task may be worth double worth value)
