In this assignment you will be making the first 15 second intro of your video (example).

Tutorials

If you did not already, watch the video tutorial and place your markers on the beats of the song. If you think your song beats are too fast or too slow, change your song to get one that will work well.

Intro

Watch the 17 minute video tutorial to learn about aspect ratio and follow along. When he creates a 5k sequence, create the same new sequence in Premiere and cut the size in half like he does later in the video tutorial. You should now have an extra wide screen look so that your video project ratio looks similar to the above example. While you are watching it, start dropping in at least 3-5 clips of your beginning video clips (at least 15 seconds long) and scale them to fit the size ratio. Before you export the video at the end of the video tutorial, watch the tutorial on how to edit starting at 7:40 in the video tutorial.

Then take the AE text "Seoul" or the city you shot and place that on top of your clips anywhere in the first 15 seconds according to a good spot in the song beat and footage sequence.

When you have finished editing your 15 second intro, make sure each of the clip changes are on the beat of the song. When you edit your film and make sure you include one of the cuts & shots (list of requirements). You may not have any video clip longer than 4 seconds. Export the video according to the video tutorial and name the file Intro Your First Last Name.

Complete the first 15 seconds of your film and make sure you have at least one cut or shot in the first 15 seconds.

Finally, export the video and upload to YT and the link to Schoology.

Choose a clip that best represents that city within the first 10 seconds to place the title add the title (tutorial) of your city to one of the first few clips. . The clip should not be too distracting and busy or you will not be able to read the text clearly. Choose your font (not decorative) with a contrasting color. Edit at least 45 seconds of your City Cuts and

Go to File > Export and use these settings. Upload the video file to your Google Drive (make public) and email the link to WordPress and type the three shots and three cuts you used in these 45 seconds. Post the WP link to the spreadsheet.
