Directions

In AE, create a new composition that is about 8 seconds long. Add your title page that you created before or make a new one although you will need to modify the dimensions to fit the video composition. Make sure that your main character(s) are featured and the title can be easily read. Add an opacity text animation so that the title appears. The title page should be about 4 seconds and your author page that follows should be about 4 seconds. Use your self-portrait that you created in Illustrator on a light-colored solid background or you can create your own original light-colored background design like the example below above. Type Written & Illustrated By and then type or sign your name. Do not show the bottom of your self-portrait as it will appear cut off and floating in the background like the example below. Instead, you can use a paintbrush below it like the example above or place yourself at the bottom of the frame's edge but make sure there is not too much headroom space at the top of the frame.

Then record your narration to announce the title of the book and "Written & Illustrated by Your Name" and add it.

Export it and post to Schoology.
