Try to fix things but don't try too hard

From what I've seen on the few different teams I've been on Amazon, the biggest thing you can do to improve the culture is to say something. Try your manager, then your director, then your VP. If this fails, just leave. If you're unhappy with being treated badly, you aren't doing anyone a favor by staying, most of all yourself.

Nobody enjoys working in a job they don't like and nobody will blame you for leaving. Amazon is in general very open to switching teams, so try switching teams to a completely different org. If you're worried they'll have the same problems, then just find another company since it's sometimes hard to tell the difference from the outside between the many good teams and the equally many bad teams at Amazon. By staying at a job you're unhappy with, you will just get more and more unhappy because the bad team certainly isn't going to fix its poisonous culture for you.
